A dental hygienist for over 40 years, Mary Ann is originally from Long Island New York, moved to Arizona and graduated in 1983 from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Her brother Tom, a retired dentist in Southern California, introduced her to dentistry where she grew to love working with and caring for people and their dental needs. May Ann joined Briggs Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in 2003.

“I am most grateful to both doctors for encouraging me to provide the highest level of care for our dental hygiene patients. I feel blessed to be in surroundings that motivate me to be the best practitioner you can experience. I am inspired and awed by the doctors and team every day.” She lives in Central Phoenix with her husband Jeff and numerous furry critters. Among her activities for relaxation are reading mystery novels, baking, doing weight training exercises and aerobic dance.

Serina brings over 17 years’ experience to the position, having graduated in 2007 from the Arizona School of Dental Health at Mesa Community College. She is the daughter of Dr. Roger & Janet Briggs and is pleased to be a part of the team at Briggs Family & Cosmetic Dentistry.

Serina’s passion to serve others and give back to the community gave her an opportunity to be a significant voice as a member of the continuing education committee for Arizona Dental Association Dental Conference from 2010 to 2020. She’s also participated in Mission trips to underserved countries like Romania and Mexico. “I feel fortunate to have found a place where I can work with other dedicated professionals to help you achieve your hygiene goals.” She lives in North Phoenix with her husband Steve, a Phoenix fire captain, and their three children. She enjoys spending time with family & friends, boating, fishing, snow skiing, and hanging out at the cabin.

Originally from Maryland, Wendy completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology while competing on the Towson University Women’s Varsity Swim Team. Knowing she wanted to be in the health professions field she began working as a dental assistant. She moved to Flagstaff to pursue a second degree at Northern Arizona University. Wendy has been a dental hygienist since 2001 gaining experience in highly innovative general and cosmetic dental offices and obtaining her LASER certification.

Her passion is working with patients, helping them feel empowered regarding their dental care and providing comprehensive, thorough, painless dentistry. Wendy is passionate about health and fitness, training for and competing in triathlons, including Ironman races. She enjoys spending time with her 2 children who are both in competitive swimming and where she is a USA Swimming Official. When not at the pool the family is out hiking, camping or relaxing at the beach. “I feel fortunate to be working with the most professional and caring team.”

Born in Prescott, AZ and raised in Oklahoma, Addie is the eldest of 10 children. She joined Briggs Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in April 2024, bringing over 10 years’ experience in the dental field to the position. She graduated from Carrington College Dental Hygiene School with a passion for patient care and education. Her focus is making dental visits as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Whether it’s routine cleaning, periodontal therapy, or giving tips on maintaining good oral health, she is there to help. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and takes continuing education courses to enhance her skills and knowledge. “I am thrilled to be part of such a dedicated and professional team. The commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining a warm, welcoming environment is truly inspiring. I look forward to contributing to and growing with this fantastic team.” Addie’s spare time is spent with family, going on adventures with her dog, hanging by the pool, or tucked in a corner reading books.

Born in Columbus, Indiana, Christine moved to Arizona to attend Greenway High School and went on to graduate from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. She and her husband John have 4 beautiful children who enjoy spending time together with extended family and friends. Christine enjoys reading, live music and playing cards. Now that her kids are grown, travel can be added to the list.

Cassie was born and raised in the White Mountain terrain of eastern Arizona. Her sense of adventure allowed her to experience life in North Carolina, Hawaii, Washington and California. A chance meeting with a fellow passenger on a dinner cruise in San Diego resulted in an offer for a career in the dental field. A job offer in Arizona brought her back to the desert, her family and connection to her Native roots.

She joined Briggs Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in November 2023 bringing 3 years of experience in front and back-office duties. “I enjoy my coworkers and working for a practice which values their patients and employees while invoking the feeling of home.” Plants and her cat, Sushi, have her heart; visiting family in the mountains and hiking with friends fill her weekends. She also enjoys drawing/doodling, acrylic painting and sewing.

Deb graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Elementary Education, and is a master’s degree candidate in Organizational Development. She managed customer service, collections, new business development and training for a company in St. Paul before transitioning to the dental field. As business manager she helped incorporate treatment for sleep breathing disorders into a single dentist practice and strengthened the business operations for an Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon.

In 2016 she relocated to Arizona and joined Dr. Roger Briggs at AZ Sleep & Snoring Center. “I am grateful to be part of such a remarkable team and working with professional, knowledgeable, and passionate people.” Deb is certified as a True Colors Trainer and T’ai Chi Chih® Instructor. She is drawn to American Indian music, art, and history; enjoys reading, music, crocheting, watercolor painting, golf and spending time with her life partner Bob.
